Appliance Repair King - Joey Appliance Repair Scam in Dallas Area!! Plano Texas
I located "Joey" with Appliance Repair King through an online search under "refrigerator repair in Dallas, TX". His number came up - 214-486-0190. At 7pm on the 8/15 he arrived at a rental property I have, and met my tenants there to perform some repair on my refrigerator's freezer.
After staying there a very short period of time, he told my tenants that the fridge was fixed, and took $175 from them. Less than 2 days later, my tenants told me that not only had the freezer not been fixed (ice building up again), but now the ice maker was not working. I have attempted at least 10 calls to "Joey" at the number specified above, and he has not returned my call. In fact, when I try to call him from different numbers that he would not recognize, he answers...then I identify myself, and then he promptly admits to "not being able to hear me" and hangs up.
I have since found other scam complaints online (via Craigslist) from this same person. The business address of Appliance Repair King, 2523 Ohio in Plano, TX is actually the general address of an apartment complex (The Highlands at Preston). This is a scam, and he needs to be stopped.

It was was working fine when my technician left and the customer did not wait 24 hours for it to defrost before plugging it in.Is why it blew the relay again.
