Ariana Pizza and Pasta Cafe Rip Off! Price Gouging Liars! Forest Hills New York
1. This place consistently mis-writes delivery orders and charges their customers.
I.e.: You order a pizza with one salad and one soda, yet they deliver a pizza with *two* salads and *two* sodas and then charge you for it. When you call back to complain, they say that you are wrong and must have ordered it that way. This has happened to not only me, but to my neighbor on numerous occassions.
Additionally, the last time this happened to me, their delivery man even admitted that the owner, Gasper does this intentionally to generate larger orders. He's a liar and a thief!
2. I placed an order last week for a large pizza with sausage and a bottle of soda. I used my credit card to pay for the order. Imagine my surprise when the delivery arrived and they gave me a bill for $30.95!!! I told the delivery guy that the amount was wrong and that they needed to adjust it. Their menu states the pizza was $16 and the soda $1.85.
The delivery guy wouldn't help me so I called the owner to complain. Gasper talked talked to me like I was an idiot and had the nerve to ask, "Don't you know that there is tax on your order?" I replied that even with tax, the total should have been $$19.32. He said, "You need to learn how to add" and then hung up on me. What a liar and a p***k! When I called him back he refused to credit my card so I am additionally disputing the charge with my credit card company.
There are plenty of other HONEST and good take-out restaurants in Forest Hills and I urge everyone to boycott this lying, theiving, dishonest, poor excuse for a businessman.

I forgot that I posted this. Dominick is correct in that the new ownership has done an excellent job! I actually do eat there on a regular basis. Thanks!

Dominick, Good luch with the business. I know that "goodwill" can add substantial cost to a business, but I don't think that happened when you bought Ariana. But, it can be turned around. Most of all, I hope that you all do like all the other pizza delivery places do and repeat back the the caller what the order was and what the total cost will be. That should help build that "goodwill."

Ariana Pizza and Pasta Cafe on Austin Street in Forest Hills, New York is under new ownership! To Lew of Forest Hills, come in and give us another try! Unfortuneately, I cannot change the past bad experience you had with Ariana's Cafe, but I can now promise you a pleasant dining atmosphere.
