Since soldiers deployed to Iraq AAFES do not allow U.S. Soldiers to purchase a vehicle in the United States.

The order tacking operater is in New York. Why can't U.S. Soldiers be eligible for purchase through AAFES regardless if they've returned out of harms way.

Haven't U.S. Soldiers been through enough lately. Furthermore, The Employee's Promotion is available until August 1, 2005.

There is no hesitation if someone broke the law.

Very Stressful,

AAFES Car Sales Valid while Overseas, including Iraq

Whether you're deployed to Iraq or assigned to any other overseas location, you're eligible to purchase new cars for through AAFES for overseas or stateside delivery. In fact, there are several Mid East AAFES car sales locations in Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Qatar. You could also arrange a sale online by emailing their sales staff at [email protected]. See http://www.encs.com/ for more info. If you're assigned stateside (CONUS), you're not eligible - you have to make the sale while you're overseas. Personally I didn't see any big savings (esp. with the stateside delivery option) and you could probably negotiate a better deal with an individual dealer as opposed to using AAFES as the broker.
