They are not using deceptive advertising. I just went to their site to see what you are complaining about. Right under the add for tethering, in easy to read words, it says: Tethering is not currently offered in the U.S. and some other countries. See your carrier for availability. They tell that to you UP FRONT. As for your charges, when signing up for any service you should so your homework as to the total cost. Its all available on their website. I walked myself through ordering a tethering option and it told me all of these fees. So no rip off here.
