The report criticizing Pennsylvania Attorney General Mike Fisher is nothing more than election-year propaganda. It was probably posted by unscrupulous supporters of former DNC head and Philadlphia Mayor Ed Rendell. Democrat Rendell has a slight lead over Fisher in their race for Governor. This is an effective political dirty trick, and we've seen it many times before. Democrats pulled off a mountain of dirty tricks in the 2000 election season, so we should expect some in this one. Any impartial inquiry will probably reveal the actual facts. Mike Fisher has prosecuted more fraud cases and all other categories of crimes than any other Attorney General in the history of Pennsylvania. Check the dockets and do the math. Numbers and statitistics don't lie. The cases mentioned in this bogus report may very well be legitimate and have merit. They may have been more appropriate for other venues. And the State Attorney General could never, ever take every case that crosses his desk. It's absolutely impossible. If you looked more closely at the individuals and organizations mentioned in this report to give it a false facade of legitimacy, you'd probably find they are partisan Democrats and political front groups. Does CEPA have one Republican officer? And look at the city source; Rendell's Philadelphia. Such unscrupulous tactics say a lot about how Democrats go about winning elections in PA and across the nation. If you can't win fair, go dirty.
