My husband and myself were interested in these nice speakers we saw in a pawn shop that we buy a lot of awesome stuff from a great prices. Last month my husband, Rocky, saved all of his extra cash to get these speakers, Audiofile 830LR. We saved and bought them for $150.00 for the pair. We got home, and like you, went online to see their website, We type in Audiofile, and BAM! Boy, were we pissed and shocked.

We read all of these complaints and scams. We spoke to Warren, the owner, and told him what we saw when we came to this site. We bought these speakers afternoon on Friday. I told him to look it up himself on this website over the weekend. Monday morning, we brought the speakers in and he was very sorry and offered a refund and an apology. As I'm sure he didn't know about the scam. He said he bought them from 2 guys in a white van approx. a year ago. He bought 4 Audiofile 830LR Spkrs for $500.00. Since we do a lot of business there and he wanted to move them, he sold them to us for $150.00 for the pair.

He has their info on the pawn ticket and he is good friends with the county prosecutor. They are going to be charged with fraudulent business practices and misrepresentation. American Trading Post Pawn was pretty pissed and Warren is out for their blood. They will be caught since they live here in Citrus county. I spoke to another pawn broker looking to find a great set of high end spkrs. We looked around, and brought up what happened with the Audiofile scam. He told me that he knows all about because he used to work selling AUDIOFILE SPEAKERS!!!

This pawn broker had a job ripping people off and admitted it's a total scam! This guy is obviously a professional cheat the name of this place is "The Gettin' Place" pawn shop in Crystal River off of Hwy. 19

If he worked for Audiofile cheating and stealing from people, he obviously does this now, but in greater quantity. I saw what he sold and the prices he was asking...leopards never change their spots!!!

Listen up, all you folks with Audiofile speakers! There's a light at the end of the tunnel. Sell 'em on E Bay. There's six pair listed on E bay as I type this. . A lot of the stuff on E Bay is like a flea market purchase. You get it home, THEN you find out WHY it was for sale. . I really don't want to knock E Bay. I'm a real E Bay junkie myself. I realize most purchases are caveat emptor where there exists: . [1]No pre purchase inspection possible and . [2]Little or no return opportunities . Just the market for unwanted Audiofile, Dogg Digital, etc. speakers, eh?
