Auto Clinic of Kona ripoff auto repair dishonest tried to stick us with more than necessary Kailua-Kona Hawaii
Took our car for alternator trouble, and Auto Clinic said a new alternator was needed. Was told to pay for deposit of part, as it had to be ordered (which would take a few days), so we did. Took the car for a second opinion at another shop, and turned out to be just the bushings, and not the whole alternator, and was fixed on the spot.
Tried to get the deposit back, and they only refunded half, saying we had to pay for the shipping! Don't even know if the part was actually shipped, but they made us pay for it anyway.
