The badbusinessbureau.com publishes the grievances indefinitely; the Better Business Bureau wipes the slate clean once a settlement is reached." <<<<< **************************** Yeah, this is surely true! That's why the Better Business Bureau is a complete sham and the badbusinessbureau is so effective! The Better BB does attempt to "put to rest" complaints against THEIR MEMBERS, making them unavailable in future reports. The Better BB "wipes the slate clean after a settlement is reached"? Bullshit! They "wipe the slate clean" (close the complaint) as soon as THEIR MEMBER says it's 'closed'. No "settlement" is required of their members, and they have absolutely no authority (and little desire) to pressure their members to settle in a manner commensurate with the "customer's" wishes or wellfare. The Better Business Bureau is a gutless, useless, self-serving entity devoted only to their business members. And that's a fact, Jack! Adolph
