AutoFair Ford is the most unscrupulous dealership I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

They charged me invoice then added almost 4k  for the crappy finance deal they stuck me in. all the while smiling and chatting it up like we were old friends. Takes a very special bunch of people to do that to a person.

Buyers beware. The only interest Autofair has is their own. Did you know not all dealers use the optional "Dealer added information" ? It's the smaller sticker next to the large window sticker, AutoFair uses this to add about 1k to the vehicle sales price. The "Gold Rewards Program" is actually already included w/your new vehicle purchase. "Ford and Lincoln Mercury also will offer complimentary roadside assistance for the entire basic and powertrain warranty period, including towing, fuel-fill and lock-out services".  They also add some nonsense about trim work but bunch it together with the already free road service, either way it's just AutoFair socking it to the unsuspecting consumer to make more profit.

AutoFair prefers "spot deliveries" this technique can cause the consumer many problems and only offers protection to the dealer. If you do decide to take a vehicle off their lot, do not sign the "contigent on financing" waiver-again protects the dealer not you. They will take your trade in hostage and force you to sign the newly found loan contract days or weeks later.

But do please be careful if you dare to enter their showroom......they will swallow you up whole...and spit you out in a nice new car that you get to pay thousands more then it's worth! good times. Oh & whatever you do...DO NOT take the car off their lot until you have read and re-read the crappy terms they are trying to take advantage of you with..cuz they will cover their buts and hang you out to dry! or offer you a few bucks but only if you sign a release not to spread the TRUTH about them!

Please take my warning seriously. The entire staff is corrupt, unethical and pose a serious threat to the unsuspecting car shopper. If you google "unscrupulous car sales" the description is verbatum of my experience!

Hello there Holy Smokes,

Thank you for your comments. I have excellent credit, but they implied otherwise and I believed them. Why AutoFair felt the need to abuse my trust is the question that AutoFair needs to answer. I went there because of their internet ad plus they kept calling me and telling me what great deals they had and that the used car manager wanted my car. I fell for the whole scam from beginning to end.

Maybe your friends with someone who works there or you work there, it really does not matter to me. I shared my experience only to warn other people to be prepared before entering their showroom or not to go at all. I should have gone to any other dealership in southern NH, but unfortunately I did not.

Why buy?

Why did you buy the car if you noticed all these problems? Was it because you had no money and that was the only place that would finance you? This problem lies on the buyer. There is no shortage of car dealerships in southern NH and you should have walked away if you didn't like the place.

why?

I am new to "rip off reports" but to answer the consumer comment below "why"? I am adding this rebuttal:

why I believed them is the question. why I trusted them, why they targeted me with such unscrupulous sales tactics, why they implied my credit score was low,  why I didn't get up and walk out, why I went there in the first place..these questions and many more will haunt me for a very long time!

correction to my original post: I paid sticker plus not invoice.

Whatever the reason for entering into a "spot Delivery", the goal is the same. The dealer wants to make the consumer believe the deal is final so that the consumer does not consider purchasing a different car elsewhere.

Why did you agree to the crappy finance deal?
