Hello,
I am a resident of the trailer park known as autumn creek, located in Michigan City, Indiana. I have been a resident of this park since March of 2013. Since last march when i moved in, There have been things needing repair and to this day still has not been repaired.
Such as: A hole in my hallway floor, my front door is barely hanging on the hinges and i have to fight with it everytime i enter my house, the water in the trailer park stains all my dishes with rust/iron, all the electrical outlets are not properly secured in my walls everytime i unplug something the whole socket comes out of the wall. The managers of the park claim they just remodeled it before i moved in it which is a lie and i have witnesses on that.
The managers will not release the number to me to contact the owners of the trailer park so im basically out of luck finding help on this issue. I have threatened to get a building inspector involved and that still didnt phase the managers one bit. instead of repairing my house they are remodeling all other trailers that noone even lives in.
Grant it it i half the time pay my rent late but i also pay the late fees with no problems or arguing. I am a truck driver so im not always home in time to pay on time. And they are threatening to evict me. I do pay my rent month to month so technically i am not behind.
The manageers of this park does not care about its residents one bit, all they care about is getting money.
For example last december i paid a security check fee of 50 dollars so my aunt can move in with me temporarily, its now middle of january and the security check still hasnt been done. They gave authorization for my aunt to move in anyway, and i believe they pocketed the 50 dollars and basically gave me a big screw you. Please if somebody reads this report i need help please and thanks.
