Once again, I'm fighting to salvage my once 'perfect' credit rating, thanks to the scam artists at Leasecomm. Even after getting the Ventura County DA's office to assist me, and having my story printed in the Ventura County Star and Los Angeles Times as a result of the FTC ruling, Leasecomm continues to send threatening notices that I must file my request to have my 'case' heard in the court of the county in which I reside, or face certain judgment in the court of Massachusetts. It has been a nightmare! If anyone would like to read my story, and join in the fight to get these bastards run outta town, Together, we can make it happen!

This is an update to my earlier post. On 29 May, 2003 the Federal Trade Commission and a 8 State task force of Attorneys General brought about a court order in Massachusetts which fined Leasecomm/Microfinancial $1 Million and required LC/MFI to "Cease Collection" on $24 Million worth of allegedly fraudulently obtained judgements on their "customers". Links to all of the government documents can be found on my website at; http://www.leasecomm.org

I initially went through CardService,26072 Merit Circle Laguna Hills,Ca. My lease was for 24 mos. at 69.00 per month. After 24 mos. I was told I owned it, could sell, do whatever. When my credit card was charge three extra mos. I called LeaseComm and was told I needed to buy it out for $199.00. I said no way might agreement didn't say that. So I agreed to return it and also complained to my credit card co. they followed up good and I was reimbursed for my 3 extra mos. charged. No problem until 2 years later I get a letter saying I owe over $2,000.00 I said this was returned, they said they had no record and of course I no longer have any receipt where it went. But I did have a letter saying that once they equipment was returned they would mail me a check and to make sure they credit card co. didn't also reimburse me twice. I have gotten letters saying I can't break this lease. A lady told me I probably didn't put any information in the box. I most recently have been talking to a Frank Grenier for LeaseComm Waltham Mass and he has now informed me that he would never lease anything from a car etc. it's a rip off. Really!!! He then told me that E-Commerce was a rip off and I informed him that E-Commerce should send you the equipment back, but he informed me that they don't care they probably have released it. I said fine but track the numbers. Well that's not my responsibility. I should ask for my equipment back LeaseComm doesn't want. I told him I didn't either that's why it was returned. Well he did say he didn't know how much longer he could keep it from going to their lawyer and for collection and I should be getting a letter for action to be taken in 60 days. He could take some money off now a few hundred dollars. I said I don't owe anything and maybe the attorney's general office in Maine, Mass. and CA should be notified since and he really didn't want to say sleazebags but he did - E-Commerce people are. Really! He did give me a name to call at E-Commerce Trevor Cross. The person I spoke to this time was Frank Grenier. Since this all took place over 3 years now I told him I have very few information left except information with BBS of CA and Mass. I'm going to see if the Postoffice will beable to go back 3 years. I can't remember if the address for E-commerce was CA or MA. They're not getting another penny out of me. The Bastards.

I too have been ripped off by Leasecomm, HB Solutions and E commerce exchange and want to organize with others to get a campaign going to get the appropriate govt. agencies off dead center and start prosecuting these criminals. I have acquired the domain name leasecomm dot ORG and have a website with information on how to fight them and also a database input for getting organized. All of my personal information is on the site which can easily be authenticated. I have linked many of the Rip-off Report BadBusinessBureau complaints about Leasecomm on my site and I believe it would be to everyones advantage if you could also link to mine, Leasecomm.org. Many Thanks for your consideration Glenn Harrison.
