I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 Nook at the Jonesboro, Arkansas Barnes & Noble store.  Cost $190.00.  The nook was defective from the get go.  I called Barnes and Noble on 03 Apr 18 and told them what was occurring.  The young lady said (I didn't ask for this) that they would send me a new nook. 

When I received it I needed to return the defective one to them in 14 days or I would be charged the full price of a new nook.  The replacement nook would arrive in three to five days. Today is day seven. No replacement nook has arrived. When I called Barnes & Noble they claimed they had no records of my having contacted them. Yet, they sent me two emails telling me how to handle the return of the defective Nook. They even sent me a "Return Merchandise Authorization: 180403-003535." 

They transferred me between departments several times before they got me to the Nook department. At no time did any one mention what I was told on 03 Apr 18 or offier to live up to it.  It was all I would have to trust them with everything from the defective nook to my credit card number (which I wasn't willing to do). 

I called corporate HQ and go the same run around and the same refusal to take care of the customer.  Tust us, but we won't trust you.   SAD.   Barnes and Noble is a company that if you purchase anything other than a book you need to watch real closely as they won't make you whole if you get a defective product.
