I purchased a $500 GE Washing Machine from Baron's in late May of 2014. It worked ok- intermitently wouldn't spin clothes fully. In May of 2015 I started noticing a real problem. Laundry was almost never spun out- floor was wet in front of and under washer. It seemed to get worse by the day so I called and scheduled a service appointment.

It took over a week for the first service appointment. When the man came out he claimed it was one of two things and he would order parts for the most common. Another week waiting for parts and scheduling another service. He replaced said part. Didn't fix the problem. Called again, this time when he came out he never stepped foot in my house. We spoke in the driveway and he told me he would order the OTHER part. Waited another week for the part and to schedule service. Seemed ok- from July to October.

Problem resumed in late September or October (forgive me- i'm a little fuzzy as I am 38.5 week pregnant). Called and was told my waranty was up. I explained that it wasn't a new problem- it was THE SAME problem. Service manager agreed to send someone out for free but depending on the findings I may have to cover cost of parts and repair. I requested a different service person. Wait a week for service person... he comes and spends a good long time with the washing machine. I am hoepful! He returns and throws his hands up, saying he isn't sure of the problem and he is going to "Put it out there on a service forum." He will be in touch. A MONTH GOES BY. No word from anyone. My basement is flooding each time I try and do laundry. My husband is growing more and more upset. Mess to clean up, crying pregnant wife, clothes piling up. He feels unbelievably disappointed in Barons and goes out and buys a NEW washing machine at Home Depot.

Call Baron's to explain our frustration. Hope for some kind of refund on apparently irrepairable washing macine leaking all over our basement. Spent a good part of two weeks going back and forth between Baron's and GE. GE promises us they've spoken to Barons and they will issue a full refund. Barons laughs in our face and says only if GE is paying them back. We make NO progress and feel exhausted and defeated. We take the old washing machine to the garage. Another week passes and no resolution can be made. We take the washing machine to the dump- we need a place to park our cars.

Two weeks ago I recieve a message from Baron's service department. The parts are in for my washing machine. Please call to schecule service. WHAT?! I am furious. What parts? I never even heard back from service man? Service manager never mentioned parts after speaking to him for weeks. I call and speak to someone. Sales manager Rob Madonna- he is at the Plaistow location. I feel that he cares about me and my trouble. He says how terribly it has been handled and promises me he will speak to someone in service and get back to me. TWO WEEKS go by and I hear nothing from Rob. I call and leave him a voicemail. He EMAILS me in return and apologizes for the delay. He will speak to someone and get back to me. Really? Thanks- it's only been 14 days since we last spoke. Two days later I receive another email from him. The service manager has already spoken to my husband. He can't do anything. I will need to take it up with the service manager at Manchester- Brian Ellis. Thanks for the phone call Rob.

Call Brian Ellis today. He tells me we made a bad decision buying a new washing machine at home depot. We should have gone to him. UM... WE DID! Multiple times. The last thing that happened was a flaky service guy told me he was posting on a forum. It's MY job to keep following up? When are you held responsible? This has been going on for months. I break down crying. I am really pregnant. We needed a washing machine. Baron's wasn't helping us. I get no sympathy, no apology, no offer of any kind to try and make it right.

I WILL NEVER SHOP AT BARONS AGAIN. NEVER.
