I feel the BBB is doing consumers a great dis-service. Why? Because they aren't willing to investigate a legitimate complaint I made about a business that is breaking the law to take advantage of consumers. I sent this e-mail to them and received no response.
You may or may not remember me. But it really doesn't matter because I still think the BBB is doing a great disservice to the consumer. I just read some complaints on your site concerning Stephen Wade Auto and I would like to know if you are investigating to see if what the consumer that filed a complaint on 6/13/16 said is true. That being that they were told they "had" to purchase the TCA product. Because if you do and you find out that it is a true statement you need to rethink your rating of A+. Because I would hope you wouldn't rate a business A+ if they knowingly break the law. And that is exactly what is happening if they are telling consumers that they have to purchase the TCA product. I will attach a document to prove to you what I am saying is true. And if they try and say that they didn't know it was against the law I would ask them when did ignorance of the law make it okay to break it. Besides it's their business to know the law when selling this product. If you don't believe my document is authentic you can contact the Utah Insurance Dept. and they can verify the code for you. This is probably a waste of time but you may want to check into how many people they have told they had to buy this product or as in my case just didn't tell them and added it to the contract. Here's some thing that may interest you but I doubt it since you don't believe anything negative about car dealers. And as a bonus I'll include a video that will show you that the Attorney General of New York knows a scam when he see's it. Maybe you'll believe him since you don't believe the consumer.
