BellaRestore or Alluraluxe Deceptive ordering process Westminster California
The BellaRestor website says you can do a free trial and pay just S/H for their products. I ordered a 30 day supply of Bella Restore Moisture Cream (1 oz) and Bella Restore eye revitalizer (.05 oz ) on 11/11/17 for $9.91 s/h. I received a no-reply type email confirmation which showed the $9.91 charge
Unknown to me and not shown on the website nor on the confirmation email, is that the trial period was 14 days long and that a non refundable "subscription fee" will be charged if you do not cancel the trial within 14 days. In my case the "subscription fee" for the 1.5 oz of the two products products was $174.91 in addition to the 9.91 S/H or $184.82.
I did not receive an email or other notice of this "subscription fee" charge. My husband found the charge while doing a review of my credit card account. By that time, they had sent me another 1.5 oz supply and charged me another $184.82. Again, no notice was sent and the charge was not listed on the packing slip with the product.
The packing slip with the product does not have a company name or address nor does it show the amount they charge you. The only way to know what you are charged is to check your credit card account. The box the product was shipped in has this address on it. PO Box 692208, Orlando FL. 32869, but the USPS mail label says it was mailed from St. Petersburg 33705.
Currently, (1/4/18) if you go to the BellaRestor website and click on the Free Bottle or Add to Cart button, the product name changes from BellaRestor to a product called Alluraluxe. I did a web search and found three other websites with BellaRestor in the name and they all switched to the Alluraluxe product when you clicked to do a trial.
There were 3 merchant names on my credit card charge account for the BellaRestor products.
