Bellsouth is required to mail customer bills on a monthly basis. The only exception to this is when a customer applies for ebill service. My experience with many of my customers is that they apply for this service on the Bellsouth website that allows you to "waive" the option of a paper bill (very clearly stated) and have your bills emailed to you. I have found in many cases, customer forget they have done this or change their email address. Bellsouth has no way of keeping up with this type of change. Therefore, it is the customer's responsibility to make sure if they want to receive paper bills they need to cancel the service the same way they applied for it..on the website. You always have the option of printing a copy of your bill online, also (it is always posted monthly). I am sorry you have had a hard time with your rebate, but I can personally say there is no "scam" involved with our advertised rebates. I also make it a point to go out of my way for all of my customers...and I do it honestly.
