This nightmare began when Ian Robbins of the Beltmann Relocation Group came into our home and assured us that our belongings would be treated with the white glove treatment.  We were moving out of state and had to put all of our belongings in Beltmann's storage warehouse in Stone Mountain.  The movers knocked a hole in our wall of our Atlanta home and left without identifying it to us.  We noticed it the night before closing.  Ian ASSURED us our things would be safe and protected in their warehouse.  Let me tell you- He couldn't have been further from the truth.  Fast forward to moving day 4 months later.  I am greeted by the moving men telling me that "half of my stuff isn't on the truck and what they do have, half of it is damaged."

Let me just unfold the nightmare for you.  MISSING 2 sofas- one a sleeper sofa.  None of the 4 beds mattresses were delivered.  My daughter's antique bed was not only missing the mattress set, but also the rails which connect the head and foot board so it is no longer usuable.  My antique mahogany dining room table top that weighs 200 lbs. MISSING.  I have the base, but not the top.  My king size mattress and seagrass headboard missing.  My dining room chair missing.  My husband who was a Gulf War Fighter Pilot's clothing GONE.  My childrens bedding GONE.  2 8x10 rugs GONE.  The list goes on and on.  What we did receive was damaged beyond repair.  My grandmother's rocking chair destroyed.  My deceased father's oil painting he did for me, GONE.  Antique pedestal table with a leg ripped off.  The claims repair man that NAVL sent out said it was the worst damage he had seen in 35 years.  I am devastated.  We have no beds to sleep in.  Sirva the claims group for NAVL actually told me that they would pay for an air mattress from Walmart and I should "treat this like an adventure."  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?  What kind of adventure is this?  This is my LIFE.  Things that i have worked YEARS for to purchase.  They can NEVER replace my family heirlooms.

Consumers deserve to be warned of companies that operate like this.  Ian Robbins and the Beltmann Group do not deserve to be in business.  Spare yourself the heartbreak and go  with a reliable mover.
