Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Bench Craft contacted my small business on Dec 5, 2007 when I (owner) was out of town and spoke to a sub-contracted person who helps me with advertising within my office. This sub-contractor agreed to advertising my company of local gold course benches for a cost of $399.00. The sub-contractor also retrived a credit card statement of mine and paid $200.00 down without my approval or permission. I had returned to the office and on 12/17/07 I was reviewing office correspondance and found the statement/billing for this transaction from Bench Craft, I immediately advised my sub-contractor to cancel this as I did not approve it and was not interested. Bench Craft refused, said anyone they delt with here had BOUND my company to this "contract" regardless of my approve or signature.

Thankfully after reporting to my credit card company that my card was used without my permission, they will investigate and I hope they refund the transaction to me. I have spoken to persons at Bench Craft explaining the situation and non-authority of the expenditure made by my sub-contractor, and have traveled up the chain of command to the vice-president at Bench Craft without a bit of satisfaction. They refuse to budge the second they have you money in their accounts REGARDLESS of any circumstances. Next they send a copy in BOLD LARGE TYPE that says "Contract Shall Not Be Cancelled", and is signed by the Collection Department. Upon inspection of the pink copy that was mailed to us from Bench Craft with the visa receipt I note that the "Authorized Signature" space was filled out by A Bench Craft employee and says "No Sig., OK per phone", below there is a space for "your position with co" which was left blank. and under "Print Name" is the first name of my sub-contractor written in by the Bench Craft employee "Troy Rep. # 4022".

Does any one or any attorney out there want to join forces for a class action suit? They have done this to Windermere Real Estate, but thats another report seperate from this on.
