It's a long con. He's a black man in his early 50's (as of 2017). Asks for a sum of money to get your project off the ground. May even hire a cinematographer and bring a couple of free interns. (He ended up not paying the cinematographer, tells them he will pay them later). He asks for money that will be returned to you if your show or movie is not picked up. Sends you a legit contract. Gives you the account number to deposit money to. Will,not,give you his real name. Later, like a month later, he will say he needs some more. Can range from 500 dollars to 2,500 or more at a time.
Will string you along and he is a marvelous actor and genuinely nice. Once you say you can't keep giving money, he will,give up after a few tries, but will encourage you and will continue to call you, at a less frequent rate, he assures you that you will be paid back and that he's creating a new channel. Sends emails from different accounts. Has people working for him based on false promises. Tells you "just because I don't call as often, doesn't mean we are not in touch or I forgot about you. I'm working hard, bla bla." Then eventually you just can't get a hold of him. Sometimes he will change his number. His real name is Beniah J Barnes, he goes by BJ or Tony, etc.
