Best Price Cameras No camera, no response New York Internet
Why didn't I read this site before I ordered? I ordered a camera body at what I thought was a great price. That was three weeks ago. A few days after I ordered the camera I received a message that it was placed on backorder.
Since that time I have been unable to contact the company by phone because the line is always busy, and I receive no reply to emails. Now I am scared that my credit card number will be used fraudulently.
No one has tried to bait and switch me and no one has said they would cancel my order. Now I wish they would!
I'm wondering if I need to cancel the order -- and how to do that -- and I wonder if I need to cancel my credit card. This is a first for me!
If this company NEVER delivers what they say they will, what do they actually do? Why are they still operating?

I'm in the same boat as you. I wish I had done my basic research before I ordered from these shysters. Call your credit card company and explain what happened. Good credit card companies will usually be on your side. I've disputed several charges for subpar service, or products that never showed up (eBay) and have in almost all instances, gotten the charges canceled or refunded. Bait and switch is fraud, and therefore, illegal, so your credit card provider is well aware of companies that try to deceive customers.
