I received a flyer in the mail and then decided to contact this company for further information. I was told an application form would be faxed to me and that I would need to provide a credit card number.

I received the application form 5 days later, but in the meantime had checked the BBB website in Texas and found their business practices to be unsatisfactory (making late mortgage payments on behalf of the customers, etc.), so I did not complete and return the application form.

When I received my next credit card statement I had been billed a $195 "processing fee" that was billed on the same day I had made the initial call to the company. When I called and complained, I was told I had needed to cancel the transaction within 3 days or would not be entitled to a refund. I was not told that when I initially talked to a representative of the company. I currently have complaints filed with the BBB, Attorney General's office, and my credit card company.
