I have not been there long but I've seen a lot of disorganized ill managed rookie office staff.
The old GM quit, so once again we have no GM. How can a business run when it has no boss?
Someone had a flat so the supervisor Allen told him to drive back to the shop (while loaded on a flat) the driver did and of course the tire caught fire and burned down the trailer. The driver got fired for doing what he was told. This supervisor bullies drivers and runs them off (like Jacob at GTI which is worse). He will expect you to run illegally or with broken equipment.
Currently we are making $1000 a month on 65 hours a week which averages around $5 an hour. There are complaints about not getting paid detention time but we dont know since we dont see payroll.
The loads are not fairly distributed. Doing nothing (slurry) pays the best, sand pays good, cement does not pay well. We no longer have an operator that works the sand loads into the silos for us so instead of being drivers, we are multitasking. Some driver's refuse to do it, so you have to do it for them(taking advantage).
You are a driver, you can get jobs anywhere else, at any time. There are much better jobs.
