Blazin Multimedia Bazin Multimedia be ware of this company they use the Bait and switch method to rip you off!! Pascataway, New Jersey
I paid Gary George the owner of Blazin Multimedia a deposit amount of $1588.50 to begin developing a website for me. I had received a contract agreement from Gary George at Blazin Multimedia. The contract and proposal. The proposal consisted of what and how the website was to be developed. it stated that the social network section of the website would be custom designed. The proposal also stated that they would develop the front & backend utilizing a combination of CSS, XHTML, XML,
Flash, AJAX, .NET, MS SQL and would work closely with me as a client in creating a
development plan that most effectively addresses marketing and branding
considerations from the outset of the project.
After paying the upfront deposit, Gary stated that he was going to assigning another person by the name of Paul Solomine to assist me with the project. This is where the problems began.
At this point I became dissatisfied with the difference in what I was told and had read on the contract and what was actually taking place. They begin to tell me different things about how the website would be built. Paul stated that the social network would be built using Social Engine platform, which only meant that it would not be a customized website at all. See the Social Engine software at (((link redactd))). It is a readymade platform that gives the average person the ability to own a social network without having a developer build one for them. It was to be purchased by Blazin Multimedia for $250.00. Paul stated that it would be a preparatory license issued with it. Gary stated that the website would be open source, while Paul stated that it would not be open source. I am very dissatisfied with how I have been baited and switched on. These guys had me sign a contract and then began to go contrary to the original plan. The main points are they decided to use this socialengine without my input or allowing me to decide on what I thought would work best for me. There are many different platforms that could have been used, such as PHPFOX, ETC. They took away my ability to choose what I wanted my website to look and operate like. I had little say so after signing the contract with Blazin Multimedia.
When I asked for a refund due to dissatisfaction, I was told that the contract stated that the deposit was nonrefundable, however they had no intention of following the contract as they exhibited from the onset of the project. I even agreed to pay them for the home page mock up that was completed, but I cannot agree to give them my entire amount of $1588.50 without having received any results from them, this is a rip-off!! Period.
Also during this process I received an email which Gary George admitted was accidentally sent to me that referred to the pictures I sent of models for my website in very derogatory terms (nasty b****es) and to me, as the client as "a mess." This clearly is completely unprofessional behavior. I do not desire to continue a project with an individual that clearly has no respect for me as a client and I have informed him so.
