Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Holly and Sean Maxwell are not your run of the mill breeders.  They BUY Champions to make themselves LOOK good.  They show a few dogs, to further make them LOOK good.  Their prices are outrageous.  But if the few people who buy the dogs, are that uneducated, well, then they SHOULD be ripped off !  Just because a dog is expensive does not make the dog better !  Holly Maxwell has way too many dogs to "properly" give each and every dog the attention they deserve.  My question is "why" do they feel the "need" to have this many dogs ???  Some people say they are a Puppy Mill.  But a Puppy Mill is way different.  "Quantity" does not make you that.  It is the way they are kept and treated.  I am pretty sure they take care of them.  They have been breeding Chihuahuas about 3 years, although they say much longer.  Again, to make them LOOK good.  They say they do not have a "kennel" and that they live inside their house with them.  OMG !  What could that be like ?  I would like to see them sell their dogs for a reasonable amount.  $1500. to $2000. is reasonable for the quality they put out.  Not $4500 and up !  I have heard that they believe, because they have champions (that they bought), they can get higher prices.  I know a few breeders that have champions and they do not sell their dogs for these prices.  Is it the people that have the "need" to tell their friends, "I paid $3500. for my dog", the ones that are buying them ?  You know there are people out there that HAVE to do this.  Guess these are the ones Holly Maxwell preys on.  I guess people are getting fed up with them and their prices.  I know I can not spend that kind of money on a dog.

BLUE CHI'S RANCH HOLLY MAXWELL NORTH CAROLINA DECEPTION CONSUMER BE WARNED

#2Consumer Comment

Sun, October 03, 2010

BLUE CHI'S RANCH  is NOT related to Shady Acres. Correct me if I am wrong here. I looked it up and it is another breeder. Holly Maxwell is Blue Chis Ranch in North Carolina. I did search and see Holly Maxwell has about 20 urls for advertizing. Many of her buyers are from Europe and many over there might not know how real show breeders work so they are completely fooled. Like I mentioned before show people have a few litters a year and often no puppies for sale. I just hate it when the consumer is mislead by the Maxwells acting like they have been breeding for many years when actually about THREE only AND far worse these two do not mention the Champions were BOUGHT as they fail to put the REAL breeders names under the photo of the Champions to give praise like all other show breeders do who buy Champions. The glory Holly Maxwell takes for herself belongs to other breeders who bred those fabulous dogs. Look at breeder websites and look at the many photos of show dogs. You will find the names of the breeders who bred these fine dogs listed under the photos, getting the credit. Holly has been told to give credit where it belongs and she fails to do so,  now the consumer will find out this way. It is sad she did not listen and do the right thing.

Just like the photos she has flashing acrosss her website of a mansion style home in  CALIFORNIA when she lives in NORTH CAROLINA. How many consumers will know those photos flashing across her "home" page are NOT of the North Carolina kennel??? How many will see the WEALTH that comes from them living off dogs???? Movie stars live in homes like that. Wealth acquired through the sale of puppies and the pain and labor of hundred of momma dogs. I sure hope those momma dogs have more then just cement kennels and dog houses.

Just as fraudulent a cover up are all those spotless UN USED multiple dog beds in a fancy decorated room is suppose to make it look like the 150 dogs take turns coming in and using them. Those beds have NEVER been used and it is easy to tell. Nothing more then "pretty paint" to cover the truth. The championscertainly distract away from the fact that  Blue Chis Ranch is a fancy frilly puppymill mass producing puppies. That is exactly what the Champions ar meant to do. DISTRACT. Puppies sold are highly infested with GIARDIA and COCCEDIA as all kennel dogs are. This whole thing is like a drug dealer who has stickers on the back of his car that state " Don't Do Drugs". You have a kennel owner here with 200 dogs and THAT is the fact. A show breeder would never in a million years have hundreds of dogs living a kennel life. Show breeders live modestly with regular jobs and do not have wealth and live in a flashy mansions from the painful labor of their Chihuahuas. There is alot to learn her, because some laws state that as long as you show dogs then you are ethical. What a laugh. So everyone who breeds and owns hundreds of dogs in mills take up showing and slap some Champions on your kennel. No more puppy mills. Nice.

How many others things in life are dressed up to hide the true facts?
