Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Since when does a "show breeder" have over 150 dogs in a kennel?

Since when does a show breeder charge over $3,500 for a dog?

Fact is that any one who has over 150 dogs is NOT a show breeder, but a kennel . Mass production of puppies is called a puppymill. So the dogs are pretty? Do pretty dogs wipe away the fact that nearly 200 dogs do not live in homes with nice beds, but face life being used like milk cows?REAL show breeders own less then 15 dogs as norm. They rarely sell show quality puppies over $1,500 and they do not have puppies for sale often since they have an average of 3 litters a year.

BUYING show dogs is an excellent cover for a puppymill. How gullible are we as a people to not be able to see beyond the frill?  Pretty little beds lined up in a row in a room of the house is suppose to lead us to believe that Holly and Sean Maxwell have 150 Chihuahuas sitting in the living room watching television? May I remind us all what  the definition of a puppymill is?  I would think that anyone with over 100 dogs living in a kennel environment mass producing is a puppymill, no matter how pretty the dogs are. Anyone with a small number of dogs who does not provide proper care is a puppymill. Does buying and owning several champions wipe away the kennel life? Does it wipe away the reality of 200 dogs living in a kennel is just not right? Holly Maxwell's owning 200 dogs in a kennel is something a real show breeder whould have nightmares about.

Showing dogs makes one ethical regardless of 200 dogs living their life in a kennel? How stupid are we?

It appears that Blue Chis Ranch used to be in California. I would think that the strict puppymill laws in California forced Blue Chis Ranch out. Check out North Carolina rules and regulations governing kennels and mills.  Owning 200 dogs makes sense to move to North Carolina does it not? I have seen purebred show quality dogs rescued from puppymills and I have seen poor quality dogs rescued too.Champion bloodlines are dandy but most purebred registered dogs have them. Please turn on your lights on and don't forget that frill must not hide the fact of 200 Chihuahuas living in a kennel being used to manufacture hundreds of puppies.

The Blue Chis Ranch website has over 20 domains for widespread advertising online. www.bluechisranch.com is only one. What show breeder does something like this? I would like to see Blue Chis Ranch give honor on her website to the original owners of the show dogs she now has changed over into her name.  My hopes are for BlueChisRanch to cut her adult dogs down to at least 50, & place the remaining 100 to 150 adults in loving family homes. The knowledge that Blue Chis Ranch has hundreds of dogs in a kennel and  is covering it up with some Champions should be more then enough to make one feel quilty and sick to have ever been involved in getting her started up.

Holly Maxwell should be ashamed of herself to take credit for the Champions.  Yes, each pedigree has the breeders name, but is she hoping people think it was her that finished the dog ?   But she did NOT !   The people who bred the dog finished it.  She just bought another Champion to add to her KENNEL !  Why ?  She does not even use some of the dogs for breeding.  She just has them to look good ?  The more the merrier ?  I don't get it ?
