Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Brad Benson Hyundai has been the worst car-buying experience of my life.  The staff is extremely unprofessional and dishonest, even for car salesmen.

My boyfriend and I visited this dealership twice.  The first time was two months ago when we heard the ad promising the world if you visited their dealership.  Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jon Seijo, a very pushy and creepy salesman.  Jon proceeded to make promises until the "finance manager" came out to join us.  The two Brad Benson employees then began their "good cop/bad cop" routine of telling us we had to make a purchase that night and alternating between a combative conversation to a condescending one.  Needless to say, we left in the same vehicle we arrived in.

Time apparently helped diminish this memory...

Today, my boyfriend and I, again, made a trip to Brad Benson Hyundai.  This repeat visit was based solely on the radio ad the dealership was running, which promised a year's worth of payments made (not deferred) with zero down and a $2500 check or 30% off sticker price.  This promotion was confirmed by my boyfriend not once, but TWICE, with Anthony Cassiere, a salesman at Brad Benson Hyundai, via phone calls on both Thursday and Friday (today is Saturday).

We arrived at the dealership in the morning to meet with Anthony.  He and my boyfriend recapped their previous conversations while paying particular attention to the details of the promotion and the specific vehicle that we had been told was available and on the lot.  Anthony left to retrieve the car (Hyundai Sonata) and returned with the convenient excuse that they, in fact, did not have such car on their lot.  We were then greeted by the "finance manager" who sat down with such ambivalence that it radiated off of him.  He told my boyfriend that no such car or deal existed and that he had misunderstood the ad.  When my boyfriend pointed out that he had gone over the details of the promotion with Anthony two days in a row, the finance manager balked and stated he wrote all of their radio ads and he knew what it said and that he did not have anything for us.  Please note, said manager never made any attempt to address, let alone apologize, for his salesman's dishonesty and empty promises.  Instead, he implied that my boyfriend was naive for believing such a promotion was possible.  I interjected at this point to see if the conversation could be steered to a more constructive direction.  I asked the finance manager if there was a different car he could get us into today and if we could start there.  He shrugged his shoulders and said, "Sure, pick a car."  His lack of desire to even make this deal happen was astonishing.  The conversation continued to go nowhere and ended with him and the rest of the staff yelling at us as we walked out.

Less than ten minutes later, I received a phone call on my cell from an "unknown number."  I hit 'ignore.'  The caller called again.  Hit 'ignore,' again.  Repeat again.  The fourth time, I answered the call and a female asked to speak with my boyfriend.  I asked who the caller was and the caller replied "Linda."  Let it be known that I do not know a Linda.  After several back and forths of me asking what the call was regarding  and her asking who I was, I finally replied that I was his girlfriend.  "Linda" then said, "Well, I was with him last night."

A few important details.  My boyfriend does not receive phone calls on my cell.  Oh, and we live together.

Turns out, the call was from Brad Benson Hyundai.  They not only called my cell, but also called our home, to harass us once we had left.  I cannot begin to express my extreme disappointment, disgust, and shock at such behavior.  The level of pettiness demonstrated by the employees of Brad Benson Hyundai has crossed a line and I fully intend on pursuing this matter in a legal venue.
