This is the email I received days ago... Today I went in for a one on one interview and upon entering I noticed the waiting room was full. not enough seats for people who just kept endlessly walking in, I scoped out my competition and kept thinking to myself wow is this place legit? or a scam? some of the interviewees were dressed very professional, others were not. I myself came very prepared thinking I was interviewing for a true marketing agency, I had my resume and portfolio at hand. Having just completed my B.S in Digital Arts and Design from Full Sail University I was told on the phone about a branding position that was open and how they were looking to fill spaces in their company immediately and read my resume and loved what they saw on Monster.com
The interview lasted for about 3 minutes; the gentleman was a very swift speaker, vaguely touching on details of what the jobs details. He held a piece of paper he kept taking notes on, and asked me to come back the next day at 9:15 am and told me tomorrow would be an all day interview with lunch. Afterwards I replied and told him no thank you. I have an interview for a real job and not a pyramid scheme, and gladly walked out the door. I felt like I should have told the other people in the waiting room but I just wanted to get out of that building as fast as possible

Hi Kelly- I received the same call from Brandy that you received. I also received the same email in response to my resume. I am looking for a career change so the opportunity sounded good. After I was set up for an interview and bought a new suit to the tune of almost $500 I started really thinking about the job. I have no experience in advertising or marketing, why would I be a good fit? I called the office to allay my fears that the position was a door to door sales position but I spoke to a woman who was vague. So, the night before my interview with Competitive Advertising I Googled the name and found Ripoffreport and learned the other names of the company. I wish I had done this before I bought my new suit, but oh well. I will get an offer from a legit company, I will not waste my time with Competitive Advertising.
