Brian is an extremely incompetent mechanic, very poor workmanship, plenty of excuses and lies to you about the work. He kept my bike for over 6 months and did only 3 days of work, which 1 of those days was the day I went to pick the bike up. Sitting in his shop, the battery went bad, because he never cranked the bike. The day I showed up to get the bike, it had 7 months of dust on the bike, it was totally neglected. The chrome parts were starting to rust too. After getting my bike back, I immediately took it to a competent mechanic and had to pay over $2,500 to get the bike properly fixed from the work Brian had done on it. Brian still has my old fender, air dam and new fender painted to match my bike. He refuses to send the parts because he says he does not want to be liable for them, even though he is already liable for them. I want my parts back that are due to me, to be reimbursed the money to have the bike properly repaired and the insurance money wasted on the bike sitting there for no reason. I am currently in California, so if I have to come to court in Houston I want to be reimbursed for my wages, transportation and accommodations to have to go to court. There were too many things wrong with the bike when I got it back, he can’t be that incompetent, so he must have purposely sabotaged all the work done to the bike. The motor mounts don’t just fall apart suddenly when I got the bike back either.

  • My front tire and wheel was misaligned

  • the brakes didn’t work properly because he didn’t align and shim correctly

  • the springs in the front forks were wiped out from him cutting them to shorten them

  • the back springs were all cut up

  • still waiting on my front fenders and air dam or reimbursed for all three of them

  • I had a 140 mm back tire and he decided to put on a 130 mm tire without my knowing or consent. The service book states it can take a 140 mm tire too.

  • $1,250 for new front fender and paint if I don’t receive the fender or it isn’t painted

  • $2,500 in labor to properly fix the parts that I had bought from Brian and he had installed improperly

Work to have been done: (April 1, 2014)

  • New wheel put on and rotor HHI 21” x 3 ¼”  (he did)

  • New Tires, front and back Metzeler 880’s (‘HE’ decided to put a smaller width tire on the bike)

  • New cam (he did, but not properly shimmed)

  • New Lifters (Didn’t do)

  • 3 chrome pieces I bought, put on the bike (he did)

  • New engine gaskets (never did the work)

  • New front fender to fit new wheel, painted to match bike (paid for fender and paint job, but never received, and he has my original fender too)

  • My front air dam painted to match bike (paid for paint job, but never received)

  • Fix brakes, they don’t work very well, that Brian put on and didn’t do last time (Didn’t do)

  • Fix broken choke that Brian didn’t do last time (Didn’t do)

  • Tune up, that Brian didn’t do last time

    • $1,250 for new front fender and paint if I don’t receive the fender or it isn’t painted.

    • My old front fender and air dam and the proper bolts that were on them.

    • $2,500 in labor to properly fix the parts that I had bought from Brian and he had installed improperly.

    • I have to come to court in Houston I want to be reimbursed for my wages, transportation and accommodations to have to go to court.

Things wrong with bike

  • Front wheel spacers on wrong side

  • Broken motor mount after receiving my motorcycle back

  • Front fork springs were cut and had to be replaced

  • Large air gap / leak between carburetor and bike

  • Loose parts / bolts on bike

  • Small rear tire

  • Misaligned brake calipers

  • Parts not spaced / shimmed properly all over the bike

  • Did not get my old fender and air dam back

  • Didn’t get the new fender and paint job

  • Cut up rear shocks

  • Had to get new battery because was never started or maintained the 6 months

  • All the chrome started rusting because the bike was left untouched
