But I have my own ripoff report with the details on my story. I just wanted to validate that dealing with Melonie Buchanan/Brighten Farms is difficult and ends in unsatisfactory results. She still has our money and is yanking us around after months and months of "yes, I have a squirrel" and "no, they're too old" (her fault, not mine) or "they'll be ready the end of June!" and no squirrel, no reason why. She shipped a lady who lives near me a groundhog after more than 2 years of trying to get the animal she paid for...and it's not socialized. It's not her first groundhog; it's not this person's "fault". Oh, and Melonie didn't bother to contact them in a timely fashion regarding shipping; the animal was waiting at the airport for hours before they could get to her. When she booked our animal (without a state required vet check we paid for), she didn't send us the info, either. That's okay, she never sent HIM, either....
