Brilliance New York Sold $700.00 used cosmetic product refused refund Palm Desert California
On April 20th 2015 I purchased Lionesse White pearl facelift filler for $700.00. I was a bit reluctant because the product was expensive and the saleman Adam told me I could return it for a refund if I was not satisfied with the product, so I agreed to give it a try. Adam claimed this product would eliminate the need for an eyelift. When I got home I took the product out of the bag to notice that the applicator was broken and the product had already been used. I went back to the store on 4/24/2015 and told them that I wanted a refund because the product was defective and I had also broke out in contact dermatitis from the application done in the store and this required a doctors visit. The doctor told me to never use any products from this company again. They refused to take the product back and stated that they would not refund my money. I asked if i could leave the product with them and they said they would call security if I did so. I have searched this company on the Better Business Bureau's website and see that they have many complaints, too many! I wish I would have known this before allowing a high pressure salesperson sell me a product already used on someone else. I am going to notify the federal trade commission. Steer clear.
