Received letter from Brookings Harbor Ford inviting me to a sale where the letter stated all prices would be Kelley Blue Book or lower. Bought a used car and found out I paid $4700 for a car that the Kelley Blue listed at $2700. Company claimed there letter was the mistake of their ad agency.

Salesman claimed the car got 33 MPG, I found out it was rated for 24 MPG. Actual MPG proved to be considerably worse then 24. Manager Perry claimed salesman made a mistake, sorry.

Check engine light came on, Salesman said cause due to loose gas cap. That proved to be wrong and the fault had nothing to do with the gas cap instead it proved to be a costly repair to the ERG valve. The electrical system had been tampered with to prevent check engine light from coming on during test drive.

Personalized license plate was touted as adding charm and charactor to the car. Next day BHF called and demanded I return license plate. Claimed they made a mistake.

BHF charged me $200 dollars to register car, they did not register the car for me and I had to do it at DMV my self at my expense. Had to get a new license plate.

The key BHF supplied with the car failed to work. After driving the car home I could not get the key to work again. Next day they supplied me with a better key that works with consideralbe jiggling. Locksmith says to solve problem it will cost me about $150.

Brookings Harbor Ford will not refund a dime or take the car back. I am a disabled American Veteran in my 70's with a very low fixed income.

Please help me.
