Do not order plants from this company. They do not honor their guarantee and their help hot line is a joke. I ordered some Blue Moon rose bushes, a Blackberry bush and some Trumpet vines. It took about 3 weeks to get the plants. When they arrived I planted them immediately but one of the Blue Moon rose bushes died and did not grow. The other alleged Blue Moon rose bush was not blue as advertised. It was a red rose and the Blackberry bush also died.

The company policy states: “If any item you purchased from us does not live, for a FREE REPLACEMENT just RETURN THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING LABEL along with your written request within 1 year of receipt. If you are dissatisfied with any merchandise, return it together with the ORIGINAL SHIPPING LABEL within 1 year of receipt for a FREE REPLACEMENT.

I returned the shipping labels to the company with a request for replacement of the dead plants and the wrong colored rose bush, but they did not respond with replacement plants. They avoided my request and told me to replant the bushes for six weeks. The plants were obviously dead So I called their web site contact number (309)-662-7761 and explained the problem to the lady. She refused to send me replacement plants also— So this company is a fraud. They take your money but do not honor their guarantee—BEWARE of Burgess Plant and Seed Company at eburgess.com............
