These people are slime. They would not provide me with written records of the debts they're trying to collect. They said they already sent it and they were not going to play "the check's in the mail" game with me. I paid the debt off through another agency and can prove it, but I am hesitant to give them anything with my bank numbers on it. I filed a report with the BBB in MA, but the countered it with false information. I hate these people and will continue to fight them. I will not close the BBB case - obviosly it affects something for them to even respond to the the BBB. I am so mad I could spit! I see that I'm not the only one.

You can submit your proof, if you got something from the agency stating it was paid. If all you have is a cancelled check no problem, get a black marker and black out the numbers at the bottom of the check on both sides. All you need is a cancelled check to prove to these idiots you paid them, before you seal the envelope be sure to send them a limited cease and desist letter as well make them restrict their correspondence to written documents only. If they continue to harass you dont worry they wont have to worry about playing "check in the mail" they will be sending you one as soon as you tell them they are about to get sued. Hopefully it wont go that far but you just cant give JDB's any credit when it comes to having a brain....you might give them too much credit.
