Combece Law Office ripoff HARRASSING PHONE CALLS, CALL TO ANYONE WITH THE SAME LAST NAME AND TALKS ABOUT MY FINANCES PEABODY Massachusetts
Cambece Law firm is a ripp off....I have not received any bills from them in writing. They called another person in the phone book with the same last name. It happened to be my brother-in-law and told him I have an outstanding debt and they are going to take me to court. They asked him to get a hold of me. When I spoke with them they told me I owed over $1000.00. I asked Richard how I could owe so much when the original limit on the credit card account was $300.00? I explained to him that this was extortion. At a $700.00 for fees and penalites I should have borrowed money for a "MAFIA" loan shark.
Truthfully if you think about it these credit card companies have gotten out of hand. If your minimum monthly payment is $15.00 and you are late then you are charged a $29.00 late fee. IF that pushes your account over the limit then you are charged another $29.00. So in the end one is being charged $58.00, when the original monthly bill was only $15.00. What is wrong with this picture.

This Cambece "Law Firm" is the bottom of the barrel. They represent debt buyers. You don't ever have to pay them anything! Request a debt validation. See if the debt was sold, if it was you are on easy street. If it wasn't, just play hardball with them. First, send them a cease communication request by cerified mail, return receipt requested. This will make them sh*t or get off the pot and it will stop the phone calls. If they persist, file the FTC complaint and a bar association complaint. Have fun!
