CAMCO - Capital Aquisitions And Management Threatening, Rude, Condesending, Shameful, Dishonest, Disreputable, Stinking, Rotten, Bast#$ds! Rockford Illinois
I was so proud of myself that after 18 years of raising children (three of them) alone without child support, I finally got my credit record cleaned up and was able to buy my first home and that FINALLY I have good credit. You can imagine how suprised I was to receive a phone call from these bottom dwelling scum suckers.
How they got my work number is beyond me...but my business partner unknowingly gave them my cell phone number thinking it was an account that I was trying to get. The first call came yesterday at lunch time from "Duane". He started telling me that I had an account that had been placed with them for collections, yada yada yada. I said that was impossible as all of my delinquent accounts were paid in full that I had just purchased a home. That is when he informed me that this was a "charged off" account from 1993!
I then, politely started to inform him that I knew what the statue of limitations was and that he couldn't pursue any adverse notations to my credit file since it was also past the seven year limit on that as well. That is when he informed me that "a debt is a debt and I'll do everything in my power to get this $7000.00 even if I have to sell your account to someone else so they can start harassing you too!" I informed him that I had no intentions of making any payments in regards to this matter and hung up.
Then this morning, first my cell phone rang and since I have caller id I didn't answer, so then next my office phone rang and it was "Carol"...I just thought Duane was a pit bull. She identified herself, and at this point, I said "please don't contact me at my office" at which point she WENT OFF ON ME! She started yelling, "You just need to pay your bills". That's when I hung up on her.
Sometime yesterday, after the first phone call from Duane, I called CAMCO back to get their mailing address as I was going to send them a "CEASE and DESIST" letter. They refused and that's when I went to the internet to try to find their address. After typing in a google search under CAMCO I found your web sight. I can't believe there is anybody out there making a living doing this.
I would love to know how to get in touch with Scott in Akron, since he knows attorney's in Texas who will handle lawsuits against this company? Scott if you read this contact me please through the rebuttal key.
In the meantime, I have decided that when they call I'm going to carry on meaningless conversation until I make them hang up! I'm going to inquire about their health, their families, their sexual preferences, whatever it takes to SHUT THEM UP! Then before hanging up, I'm going to ask them to pray with me and tell them that I look forward to hearing from them real, real soon. If nothing else, I should get a good laugh out of it!
