Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Looking back, I wish that someone had warned me about Canopy Construction. The company and their employees are dishonest. Please do not conduct business with them. I hope that my nightmarish experience with Brian, Renee, and Canopy Construction will help you to make the right decision. Heres what happened:

In January, Brian and his wife showed up at our door offering to fix out roof after a hailstorm. He was a nice person and convinced us that he and his company were reputable. After some research of my own, we signed a work order stating that the roofing repairs would total $8,097.19. After about three to four weeks of construction, work stopped. No one from
Canopy Construction contacted us or made an effort to complete the agreed work.

After six months of inactivity and repeated unreturned calls to Brian, Renee LaZarrus the General Manager contacted me. She was completely ignorant and thought the work had been completed. Along with being rude, impolite, and inconsiderate,
she demanded payment. After I informed her that the work was not completed, her employees quickly came over and finished the job. Unfortunately, the job was sloppy, substandard, and poor. Trash and leftover roofing foam were left in the
yard along with tools and a gas can. The repair to the outside rafters left chunks of wood in the front yard and in the fountain, and the paint job to the rafters looks as if a toddler painted them.

After Canopy Construction finished their work, Renee took it upon herself to inflate the price we had agreed to and proceed to harass us over it. She has overcharged us $2101.32. Even though the work was imperfect, deficient,
unsatisfactory, and untimely, Canopy Construction employed tactics of overcharging, cheating, and defrauding in order to swindle us out of our money.  The lessons that I learned from this experience is to get referrals, and ask to talk to previous clients as references, not just do an internet search. If the company is reputable, they will gladly share references
with you. Check with BBB and Registrar of Contractors for any outstanding complaints. Even if the complaints are resolved, let this be fair warning not to business with them.
