Capital First Scam I too was contacted by Capital First on July'12, 2002 and was offered a credit card with a $2,500 limit. The name of the Representative was Kayla and here ID was 434. My ID No. which she gave me was 06645740. I gave her my checking account number. I accepted this wonderful offer which has subsequently appeard to be horrible ! I am very much believing the US people, that I never realised that they are literally lying to me. I naively gave them the information, and within 2 week $ 29 was charged on my account. I kept on waiting to get the temporary card, on which I can take a trial. But I never got the trial card. After 4 weeks $ 44.95 and @59.95 was charged on my account. Without giving me the temporary card, they charged me the final amount. I kept on asking them about my card, and they kept on giving me the promise that my card will be delivered within 3-4 weeks. The recent promise was in the second week of Nov'02. I am trying to get somebody on 1-866-892-6018, but this number is contineously engaged. I am helpless and dont know how to get back atleast $130, which I have already paid. I am a member of Credit Manager which is provided by Experian, the credit berau company. I sent them a mail describing the whole story about capital first and asked them whether they are keeping any credit history for such organization and how can they help me?, but surprise to say, I didnt get a single word from them. Nobody should rely on this nastard Capital First. They are real cheaters and I dont understand how can they still surviving running by doing this cheating business.

I too was contacted by Capital First and was offered a credit card with a $2,500 limit. The first time I declined, it sounded too good to be true over the phone. Since then I have been contacted 2 more times the last time being Mon. July 29th this time I let her finish her presentation and like the others I asked if she could send me the information first before accepting this wonderful offer! Of course she could not. so she just kept pushein and saying "is this still your correct name is your income still over $800 a month etc.." So I kept asking her "what do you mean still, I havent givin you that information, where did you get it?" then she proceeds with well I said is your income over 800 a month and I told her that was not what she said, she did not ask me, she was telling me, and I wanted to know where she got her information from. I got no where with her so I asked for all the information so I could check out the company first, but like the others I was told ther was a $29 processing fee and I would have my card in 4 to 6 weeks, then after recieving itmy card would be charged $59 for travel promotions etc, but it would be charged to my new card if I chose, she said I could do it either way, to my checking or from my new Mastercard. The information she gave me was the company was Capital First the address is 18495 Dixie Hwy Suite 228 Miami, Fl 33583 according to others this zip code is different. Her name is Joanne Joseph ID # 22167 phone 3 1-866-892-6018. What kind of unscrupulous people do this to people in their own country? Did September 11th not teach us anything? They used our knowledge and our money to put their plan into effect! Does it make you wonder where your money might be going? I fortunately checked this web site before giving out my information, but I still feel victimized, how did they get my information? They are supposed to call me again for my approval after I have checked out their company, they will be in for a rude awakening!

I was also contacted by Capital First, they offered me a Mastercard with the credit amount of $2500, all I needed to do is give my checking account information and a packet would be sent to me with the paperwork to acquire the card. They would charge my acct for the $29. Of course I was not willing to give this info even though the representative was persistant. I asked if they could send me the packet and once I reviewd it and I liked what I read I would submit any necessary application with a money order or cashiers check to obtain the card. They referred to the card as a pay as you go, I could not get a clear explanation as to what they meant, I was told that they could not send me the packet without prior payment as they have sent so many packets out and did not get response in the past that it was not cost effective and did not send packets if a customer was not truly committed to obtaining the card. I said I would need to do some research on their company and asked if they would call me back the following night, that's how I came upon this site. No call back,I called them at 866-892-6018 and could not speak to a representive, instead was asked to leave my name and number and a representive would call me back, no call. eople, do not ever give out your checking acct, credit card acct or any personal financial information to anyone over the phone ever!!! There is also a law in effect against out of state telemarketers contacting Washington State residents which the company can be fined and the fine is to be paid to the person contacted. I am looking further into this. Maybe these low-lifes can will be giving me a piece of their pie.
