Capital One, and Lease Comm ripoff deceptive company Seattle WA & Woburn Massachusetts
Lease Communitations located in Woburn,MA supposedly was leasing a credit card machine to me and my husband for my Beauty Salon in New Mexico. They send a representative to bring the equipment and install it for us and to confirm the contract for a Lease to purchase option we choose.
The representative was from Albuquerque, NM. After he left our small ski resort town, I noticed after my husband signed the contract, we had no copy of the originally signed contract. I contacted the rep and was told that I would be mailed the copy. I was never mailed anything, and the only copy I had was one with my husbands signature on a card-stock copy that was blank, except for the signature!
For weeks I tried to get through to someone in charge, but it was like chasing a rainbow...I was told again that I would be sent a copy of the lease-purchase contract and not to worry.We had prematic payments taken out of our business account for over 4 (four) years at $53.60 a month, at the end of that time, the machine was to belong to us.Instead, the company put us on a month to month contract without our consent and continued to take payments out of our bank account. I closed the account and now they continually threaten us, refuse to listen to me, and have ruined our credit rating. Even after we overpaid for the machine!
