We moved and before our new address was to go into effect I requested a change and also asked to be billed directly NO MORE automatic withdrawals from our checking account because we wanted to close it and open a new one with our new information. This was Oct. 1 2005. They continued to attempt to get it out of our checking account charging us MONEY after we went to the bank and signed a statement that they could not withdrawal any money. The months of Oct. Nov. Dec. and Jan. they attempted, sucessfully getting money out in Oct. Nov. which put us into NSF chg. because we had only left the money in the account that would have covered the few outstanding checks. They totalled less than $100. however with Capital One continually attempting bi-weekly for the 3 different accounts that we had we were charged $35. each time it was returned and then Capital One charged us an overlimit fee, ach return fee, late fee at $25. per fee.

We closed the account Dec. 13, 2005 and they still attempted to get money. I called mx and several of the charges was removed however Feb. was another attempt,I contacted again, again, and again regarding this matter, personnel was rude, at times refused to talk to me re: my spose's acct. even after he repeatedly gave permission. To make matters worse, we were still charged by our bank for the attempts. I am still fighting the system. I finally received a letter at the end of Feb. that I would no longer be able to use my checking account for automatic payments because of invalid inform, can you beleive it.

Then yesterday I received a letter for my husbands account that it would no longer be getting auto pmts. because of his invalid account information on his checking acct. The nerve. I am constantly getting calls up to 5 per hour some evenings, we have been forced to get a second line in because of the chronic harrassment. My spouse had surgery several months ago and they still have not pd. his pmt. we have that cedit protection pmt. services. I feel that people should know. NOW OUR CREDIT is ruined because of this I am sure because they sent it to our Credit Reports.
