Capital One Credit Cards STALK customers by phone. ..holidays and after hours!!
STOP before you accept that offer from CAPITAL ONE on a pre-approved credit card, both secured AND un-secured! After they get you signed up, they call you at least three to four times per week trying to sell this, hawk that, push this and offer that. I've told them several times to quit calling, especially after 9pm at night and on important holidays.
And Heavan forbid you're ever a day late or a dollar over your limit: they treat you even worse with the stalking-like phone calls. My advice is STAY AWAY from CAPITAL ONE!

I currently work for Capital One and will admit that we have very agressive business partners. We have sent our Privacy Notice to each and every cardholder. If you would like to stop telemarketers associated with us, call and ask to "opt out". Our "opt out" request will update our records within 48 hours and it only takes between 2-6 weeks for all partners to have your information fully purged from their call lists. I would like to comment further on your comment that they call after 9pm. All telemarketing firms must not call after 9pm....that is the law! The companies we work with are very reputable and offer a great range of other services that millions of our customers benefit from each year. It seems to me that instead of calling us to ask how to stop the calls, you most likely acted like an immature, hotheaded jerk that wouldn't allow us the opportunity to help you.
