I signed up with Rain Soft and was not told that the account with Carmel FInance was attached to my home, and that they can take a lien against my home. I started this account in February because it did not start until March 1. $116 PER MONTH, I explained that I would be paying this way bi weekly bill pay through my bank CME.

7 months later I get a bill saying I am behind. The customer service person says that depending on when I pay on the bill it could be considered a payment on the principal, or extra payment. I made three payments in July, so it was taken as an extra payment.

Then a couple weeks ago, a customer service person calls and says okay your payment is not late, and my account would be checked into????? Someone else calls and says my account is late and I owe $73.00??? She explained that I would not know when the finance company considers payments as extra payments, but if I gave her my bank account number, they would deduct my payment by the 25th of the month and my payment would be on time??? They need to tape what these Customer service contacts say.

On August 14 I was informed that this account was attached as a lien on my home????? and that she RAIN SOFT should have told me????? every month it has been something different with Carmel Finance. I will be reporting my circumstance to BBB, Attorney General's Office, and RIP OFF Sharon Seward
