Got a call today about 12:50 pm, it was some lady who could barely speak english. she told me this was a criminal matter and to listen to her before i interrupt her and ask questions at the end. I let her finish and when she was done I asked about a million questions. she told me I would be prosecuted and she said police officers we coming to my mailing address and that i would go to jail, and that I needed a lawyer to call them right away. She gave me the last four of my social security number and the name of my bank. She said it happened in 2010 and that I owed them $200. I said that's not possible, I did not take out a payday loan at all last year. She couldn't even give me the month and date of the transaction and that they would use that to prosecute me in court. She said I could end up paying $10-12,000. I told her I would call her back and then I called my bank for every direct deposit and nothing came up. Also I didn't tell her the bank account she was refering to was not opened until jan 2011, so how could I owe on a charge when the bank account wasn't even opened

get a whistle or other loud instrument and let them have it - these scammers change names like most people change socks!

If this scammer calls you again have some fun with them , tell the caller that a voooo curse has been put on them they believe in this

Have you ever taked out a payday loan? If so call that company and get a run down of your account. IF you forgot to pay $200, pay them, not someone on the phone with threats of $200 turning into $10-$12,000
