CCA Credit Service Division rip-off scam Las Vegas Nevada
I recived a letter in the mail from CCA. URGENT APPROVED congratulations your card has arrived call immediately to activate this card. Credit limit of $6,500.
So I called was on the phone for 10-15 minutes activated the card, gave them my ss# my dob and like a jackass my bank account #. SO they imeadiatley deducted 199.99 from my checking account. then there was a $99 benfits program one time fee to be charged in april and a $99 anual fee due in may.
Last night I tried to use my card at Wal-mart no dice the card does not scan and the numbers are invalid when punched in. imagine that. So this morning I called the customer service # was on hold for 15 minutes finaly I talked to a guy i asked him to cancell the account he said the account was in process and could not be canceled. I asked for the manager he refused so I hung up.
I called my Bank canceled my account and opened a new accout. I also stoped payment of the 200.00. The bank is rembersing me the money and is going after cca to get there money back.
I called CCA talked to a women told her to cancel and the payment would be stoped. she said the account would be terminated upon stoped payment.
If you are a sucker like me and have already fallen for it the first thing to do is close your checking accout so they can not get any more of your hard earned money.
