CCS First National Card ripoff scam no website will not stop talking long enough for you to refuse their service consumer fraud ripoff Las Vega Nevada
I received a card and letter through the mail from these people and because I wanted to re-establish my credit I call them to sign up. When they told me the membership fees were $199.00 I told them I could not afford it. Oh, they were very accomodating to let me pay the membership fees in two installments and had me believing this was the answer to my credit problems. They even increased my pucrchase amount from $6500.00 to $8500.00 for me agreeing to join.
I told them I was disabled and lived on a fixed income and that I could not afford anything that was screwy, but they assured me everything was okay. They did not tell me I could only purchase from their catalog or that I had to pay the freight and a 30% deposit on all my purchases before I could use the card. But thanks to this Web Site and my daughter I found out yesterday, 12-4-02, that it was a ripoff and scam. I would also say what they are doing is fraudulent. When I called them today, 12-5-02, to cancel my membership, they promised me the moon to stay a member and when I told them I thought it was a scam and ripoff the first lady I talked said I would need to talk to her supervisor, but they were doing everything they promised.
I talked with the supervisor and she talked, talked and talked to keep me as a member, and threatened to go ahead and run my membership fees through my account, and that I could not cancel. That's when I told her, before I had called CCS First National Card that I had contacted my bank and they already been notified not to honor any charges from them, she decided very quickly to cancel my membership.
So at 11:45 AM Central Daylight Time and 9:45 AM
Pacific time, my membership was cancelled. I have notify them in writing also to confirm cancellation of my membership and my bank has a letter authorizing them to refuse any payment request from this company.
They are a ripoff, scam artist and fraudulent company, so please do not sign up for their membership.
