My wife responded to a newspaper ad from this company for home medical transcriptionists. She worked 2 months for them, of which she is owed over $1,600 in wages. She has yet to receive one cent!

The owner (Mrs. Bobbie Taylor) always had a story about how the checks were delayed, or they were coming from out of state etc. Interestingly, part of her work is doing medical billing(!). Also, she always demanded that the transcription work be returned to her by 7:00 the next morning, yet she couldn't manage to pay one of our invoices in over 2 months.

I did some detective work by speaking to former employees, and they reported that their checks were often late and/or bounced frequently. Apparnetly this lady has a history of conning people and treating them in an unconscienceable manner. She has also closed her office after not paying the rent.

I will now have to pursue this matter with the Virginia state labor board and/or legal action. If you are a Virginia physician, please do not do business with this company. They do not pay their employees!

Ms. Bobbie Taylor, the owner of Central Virginia Business and Transcription Services, and her husband Harry Taylor, continue to not respond to the Virginia Department of Labor for criminal charges

Ms. Bobbie Taylor, the owner of Central Virginia Business and Transcription Services, and her husband Harry Taylor, continue to not respond to the Virginia Department of Labor for criminal charges of unpaid wages which is a violation of federal and state law. They have moved from their home and office. They have also disconnected their home phone, and changed their business phone, with no forwarding numbers given of course). The company website is down. Her "business" email is a hotmail address(!) Somehow they continue to solicit new business. Presently there are at least two former employees who have filed cases against them. In addition, another former employee sued them in court - and won. While this is very frustrating to pursue, and though it may take a while, justice WILL prevail!
