I have a Chase Credit Card. I received checks to use along with a marketing letter that they could be used at the low interest rate. I deposited one into my checking account for $400. and they charged me a $150. fee. They call it a fee, otherwise it would be illegel to consider it as interest. I called them and they have not agreed to resolve. There was no mention of a fee on their letter.

I talked with the customers service and they told me that I had to contact one of the credit reporting agencies to find out why they gave poor rating to our credit history and guess what? The credit reporting agencies have NO idea what the hell we're talking about because our credit is in GOOD STANDING! I asked them when did Chase Bank ask for a report since the customer's service told us that they got a report on us LAST JULY meaning tow months ago so I checked it out and discovered that the last report that they asked was May 5, 2003. Once again, they have continued to yank us around. Don't go through Chase Bank because they are so determined to take your hard earned money. What a ripoff!!!

Guess how much the delinquent medical bill is: $7 The hospital told us that we do NOT owe any money and the account was closed but I still need to follow up on that by contacting the credit bureaus but the fact is this: Chase raised the interest rate from 8.9% to 24.23% over a lousy $7 medical bill in spite of our impeccible credit history.
