In Dec 2005, I got a call from a really friendly guy and was convinced by him to become a "LIFETIME" member with Cheaptrips.com. After this call, a girl made another call selling me the vacation club package of Cheaptrips.com, I couldn't refuse her, and therefore, I bought this package too. I paid $200 membership fees for both.

Due to the tough restriction of using these vacation vouchers and significantly higher prices of flight than other free on-line travel when I tried to book an international flight , I decided to cancel these memberships. Therefore, I mailed back all of stuff Cheaptrips.com sent to me.

About ten days, I called Cheaptrips.com and confirmed that they got my returned package. I was told that my refund was being Processed and to wait one to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on my credit card statement.

After waited for two months, I had not received any refund. I did the second call, the agent at billing checked my account and told me the refund was requested to a wrong MasterCard account and he did another refund request. and told me also your refund will be made in next billing cycle. I believed it and waited again.

Unfortunately, a year already passed and I still got nothing. During this time of period, I called number of times and spoke to different ones and same story was repeated again and again. Yesterday, as before, I called them again, and spoke to a lady in billing, she transferred my call to her supervisor, Mr. Sogor.

After held same statement for year, Mr. Sogor tore off Cheaptrips.com's face this time and thrown off you need to send me the evidence for package you returned. In this moment, I recognized that I was full into cheaptrips.com's trap. What's that? I was stupid to joint the Cheaptrips.com and kindly wait for a year for the refund, but, now, I am not stupid to back to original place and let Cheaptrips.com play game with me and waste my time again.

After I search internet, I found that I am not the only victim of Cheaptrips.com (I am so regret. I could be doing this research earlier). Now, no longer is it about the money! As other victims, I will provide complaint to public and the Attorney General of each state.
