ask them if the NY Attorney General has found them, yet. It's a big scam and the NY BBB has it plastered that it is a scam. Google New York Check Processing Bureau Enforcement Division and scam and you will see that this is a scam. File a complaint with the both Attorney Generals of Georgia and New York. Hopefully, the NY AG will shut these bogus losers down.

They must be scam artists. Broadband did not exist 7 years ago. Send them a "validation letter" where you request that they validate your debt. It sounds like they are "fishing" to get your bank information. When they call you again, get their mailing address and send them the letter "Certified & Return Receipt" asking for the evidence of the bad check. Good luck.
