It is really awful that CSK (checker, schmucks, and kragen stores have these so called policies, created by the individual stores mgmt. Anyway here is the chain of command in their so called ivory towers (Phoenix Arizona) Mayanrd Jenkins CEO Martin Frazer CFO Richard Reyes, Corporate Store Operations. They can all be reached at 800 842-3071. It is not a voice mail; you will be able to talk to a operator and all you have to do is ask for one of those people, and I guarantee that your problem will be resolved in a most expeditious manner. I can understand that you are upset about the whole alternator situation, obviously this store went out of their way to not help you, but all checker stores are not the same, Every auto parts store has horror stories because people lose receipts or we just have some employees who have no patience when it comes to customer service. Our checker store is # 1 in our district and we go out of our way to help customers, I apologize that the store that you went to did not honor your warranty, obviously they have poor management. If you want to go farther with this situation you may want to demand the phone number to contact the district manager, or get the phone number for customer complaints and your issue should be resolved. Again I apologize and I hope that your problems are resolved, if you complain enough to the highest management, which shouldn't have been an issue eventually your situation will be taken care of and you'll either be issued another alternator or your money back.
