I should have known better when they charhed me 100 dollars to tow a car 3miles....I went to Chips today bc its freezing outside my window was stuck down and its too cold to work on in the yard....These guys are ripping people off . Not only did they charge 250 to replace a window regulator on a cheap ford make car but they broke the button switch panel .Bad buisness men i was skeptical before i came but know now truley a rip off shop. In one fashion or another i assure you Chips Service center will deal with Karma for doing bad buisness and taking advantage of people whom they assume have no knowledge of vehicles. I unfortunatley do and it hurt my soul to pay them 250 for such an easy fix.I hope you guys are proud of the shady shop.I was not quoted this price prior to repair and im not one to argue.Payback is payback and so karma it shall be.Thanks for reading

I have run this particular repair through our Mitchell Repair program several times to verify that this customer WAS NOT overcharged. I have no idea what the customer is talking about with the towing - as the car was driven to my repair facility, not towed. The diagnostic for the window repair should be $45.00 - the repair time pays $117.00 to replace the window motor - the part costs $100.43 ... add in New Jersey sales tax $18.37 = $280.80!  So.... to wrap this up, customer was given a DISCOUNT, on a SATURDAY, when the temperature was 9 degrees, and customer DID NOT have an appointment. Now, said customer wants to rant online hiding behind his computer screen to try and give me a bad name, rather than call me to voice any concerns of unfair treatment.... looks to me like the customer made out pretty well on this repair.
